Tire Industry Fact Book
The Tire Industry Fact Book contains extensive information on the U.S. tire industry compiled from data supplied by companies that constitute over 90% of the market. The Fact Book features shipment and production data for various tire categories, natural and synthetic rubber usage, tire plant locations, tire size popularity, time line chart on major events in the tire industry, and information regarding North American (Canada and Mexico) tire activity. Annual data is presented after 1995. Data prior to 1985 is presented in 5-year increments, when available, back to 1929. See more (link to purchase area)
Monthly Tire Report
The Monthly Tire Report presents a number of key tire statistics on a monthly basis. Specifically, the report presents total industry data for Passenger, Light Truck, Medium & Wide Base Truck, and Heavy Truck Tires.
Within each of these categories, the report presents the following industry statistics for radial and non radial tires:
Monthly Trade Reports
The Monthly Trade Reports present import and export activity for various rubber products as defined according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States and Schedule B. The reports contain information collected by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census through U.S. customs ports. In most cases, the reports reflect both units and value of shipments by country by month. The report presents imports by the country of origin and exports by the country of destination for each item included. .
